Scenes from the A96 - 31 12 2009

Hillside fading into the freezing fog... the little clump of trees caught my eye.
The A96 between Fochabers and Aberdeen is notorious for being blocked by snow - these images were taken from it on a journey this afternoon, when conditions were described as "difficult" - winter tyres make all the difference!
