Thanks! Wightwick is one of the most memorable houses the National Trust owns and it is remarkable that it was only about 60 years old when they acquired it . Their is an equally good house on the Wirral called Hill Bark by the same architects Grayson and Ould; it was empty for years but has now been converted to a hotel. Hill Bark was so well thought of that it was moved from Bidston to Frankby in the 1920s and rebuilt because its original surroundings were becoming suburbanized. Visting Wightwick is always a treat!
