I can just about remember when this house still had its original contents, at its heart is an early medieval aisled hall and it once had fine late c17th interiors. It was also the home of Mary Chaworth one of the early loves of Lord Byron. Its criminal what has happen to the Hall in recent years. Its not that long ago that the Medieval church was still roofed and furnished either (I think that fell into ruin in the 1970s).

Although it's a sad scene you have taken a cracking view of this house.
