Enista, this came up before I could make it private ;-) and is to be one of many ;-)
in a little set, but yes the horse had been groomed and looked wonderful and his
name is Wally and he is a character with a beautiful mane and tail ;-) the sun
caught the colours perfectly ;-) oOo

Creative and beautiful. So many horse details can be lost in the "big picture." Wonderful equine detail here.

You may be interested in the background of the song, "American Pie," that you mentioned in your comment on my Chevy truck picture.
It concerns an event that happened not far at all from where I live. On February 3, 1959, a small airplane crashed near the town of Clear Lake, Iowa. Killed in the crash were Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and J.P. "The Big Bopper" Richardson. The three were very popular singers. A line in the song refers to it as "the day the music died." Released in 1971, the song retains popularity today.

o0o first many thanks and pleased you liked the picture, no changes to the
exposure or anything ... his colouring is wonderful, we laughed and said
he would be a good advert for a well known hair product company ;-)
and he swished his tail perfectly ;-) what a star he was oOo

I remember the loss of life of Buddy Holly in the plane crash ... but had no idea
that this song in that respect referred to this ... I remember the lyrics the day
the music died ... so thats the link ... thanks Dave ... ;-) it will have new
meaning now each time I hear the song !
