But also, my dear, to underline this brilliant light (unusual for you), which, in its subtle contrast, inspires in an intimate way a somehow vain expectation, nourished by a hope that only our vital impulse motivates. Hope keeps this eternal expectation alive and helps us to overcome it, like Lady Butterfly, until our last breath, whatever its purpose and the probability of its fulfilment, isn't it? It is what has enabled us to cross these long centuries in spite of our sad destiny?

Perhaps you didn't mean to say the same thing. But I know it's in you, and it shows in your picture so inspired, so precise...
