Pit to Port - Up close #4
This sculpture features an over life size coal miner, leaning against a dram which contains a pit winding wheel, smoking factory chimney and a ship. The statue clearly demonstrate the cycle of the coal industry, which the Cardiff docklands were originally well known for. The statue is on the corner of Britannia Quay, Roath Dock, Cardiff Bay, Wales.
