1984 Mercedes 500 SL - B175 YUB
Came across this glorious white Merc whilst out cycling in Northallerton.
The lady owner was up visiting friends or family in the area and happy for me to take some photos and have a good look at the car, both inside and out.
It was a while ago now, but I seem to remember she said that it started out life in South Africa and was brought across to England by the original owner a few years ago. not in mint condition, but very nice nonetheless for those that like their German cars big and well equipped.
The Mercedes-Benz SL has been manufactured by Mercedes since 1954. The designation SL derives from the German Sportlich-Leicht, which in English translates as Sport Lightweight.
First applied to the 300 SL, the infamous and amazingly beautiful "Gullwing" model, the classification is still in use to this day.
