1972 Ford Cortina GT Mk3 - MYX 749L

1972 Ford Cortina GT Mk3 - MYX 749L
Another 'rolling snap' before it was gone. And another old car that I absolutely love although I'd rather have a 3-door, but even so ... much to be admired and a design that for me at least still looks strong to this day!

Gary Schotel, , Auggie W, and 4 other people have particularly liked this photo

Yes, they were very similar Katja. In fact, I believe the Taunus formed the basis of the Mk3 Cortina albeit with different doors and those lovely "coke-bottle" hips! ;)

Love this one Paul. I had one of these in the early 70's but it never looked as good as this one does.

I agree with Katja - very similar to the Taunuses sold on the continent at the time. Were they identical by the time the next generation was released?

Could well have been, I'm not that familiar with the later Taunus models! :)

Thanks for the links ... that 360 is awesome and begs the question of how on earth you capture something like that? :)
