1996 Mercedes C200 Elegance - N890 KWT
Spotted in Northallerton. Not my cup of tea and some might comment on it not even being all that old.

However, when you think about it this car is already 18 years old and I can easily imagine it being considered a classic in years to come.

Could be ... hard to say what people will develop warm and fuzzy feelings for! They are in that late model group of cars which doesn't do anything for me. I'm not sure if it's the styling ... or the extra taxes at the BMV that turns me off! :-)

I agree on the looks norm. When I say I can imagine it easily being considered a classic I'm thinking more in terms of build quality and features rather than how it looks. If we're talking aesthetics then there are very few cars built since around 1990 that I'd say are or even could become a modern classic.

Seriously, that's one gorgeous and distinctive looking car. Can't think why you never thought it could achieve classic status ... I'd buy it! ;)

Also ... that stream was fun to follow at times. It's Dad's photo stream and yet some guys would write flirty comments ... thinking it was the daughter's stream. :-)
