1970 Chevrolet GMC Corvette Stingray - EHN 164H

1970 Chevrolet GMC Corvette Stingray - EHN 164H
There aren't many cars with a sexier front end than a Vette!

Indycaver (Norm), , have particularly liked this photo

Lovely one Paul! My Buddie's brother had a 1970 with the LT1-350. It was quite the ride! The Corvette Museum in Bowing Green, Kentucky lost 8 Corvettes yesterday. I'm hoping they will be able to salvage a few of them.

As ever Norm, glad to bring back some memories. With regards the Corvette Museum, I'd not heard about that so was keen to check out those links ... scary and very, very sad!

There seem to be more and more of these things happening around the world. There was even an incident in the UK recently where a woman's car, which had been parked on the drive overnight was swallowed up by a 30ft sinkhole ... still, it was only a VW Lupo and probably a newish one at that!

Here is a link to a bunch of still photos of it. : plus.google.com/photos/104141664400556036641/albums/5979568634002499569?banner=pwa

I visited the museum back in 1999 and I was going to do so again three years ago when I was down there for the Pontiac Convention, but I ran out of time and didn't make it. The museum is right across the road from the factory that builds all the Corvettes.

Thanks Paul! I'd read about that sinkhole in Buckinghamshire, but it was interesting to see the video interview. As a geologist and former caver ... I watch out for this kind of story! :-)
