Breathtakingly beautiful. It is surpring to see a few patches of snow even in August

Hi Christa, yes beside the glaciers there were few patch of snow as in that winter we got a lot of snow and it was particularly cold. Where I live we got -17°C. The glaciers you see below the rocky tower, l'aiguille des glaciers" begins at about 2900m.
