Century old pinewood burning

L'incendio che partendo da Bussoleno divampa da una settimana, distruggendo tutto ciò che ha trovato sul suo percorso, ha raggiunto la pineta di pini cembri del Pampalu. Ripassando di sera, tutta la pineta era stato divorata dalle fiamme che sono scese alle porte di Susa.
I pini sono alti anche 20 m, ma le fiamme alimentate dal vento sono alte più del doppio. Più che un incendio sembra l'eruzione di un vulcano.

The fire that started from Bussoleno sprouting for a week, destroying everything found on its path, reached the pumice pines pinewood of Pampalu. By the end of the evening, the whole pinewood had been devoured by the flames that came down to Susa surroundings.
The pines are even 20 m tall, but the flames powered by the wind are more than twice as high. More than a fire looks like a volcano eruption.
