It would be interesting to see the street today--there were also a lot of postcards that featured the benches. I just bought a new scanner (an Epson Perfection V600) last week and figured out how to scan slides with it. This and the Watson's Motor Hotel sign are the first two slides I scanned. I don't have too many slides (and I don't have any over on Flickr), but I hope to dig out some others and post them eventually.
