Studied Paris Conservatory .Debut 1898 Paris Grand Opera as David in ''Die Meistersinger von Nurnberg'' Wagner.
1900 he appeared at the Grand Opera Paris in the premiere 's of ''Lancelot'' Joncieres, 1901 in ''Astarte''r Leroux, 1902 ''Pagliacci'' Leoncavallo as Beppe. 1899 he went to the opera (Theatre de la Monnaie) in Brussels Here he appeared in 1906 in the premiere of Massnet's ''Le jongleur de Notre Dame'' as Jean 1905 ''Martylle'' Dupuis. He created the same part in 1906 at the Covent Garden, London.
