She began her stage career in 1895 at the City Theater of Aachen, to which she belonged until 1898. From 1898-1901 she worked at the Stadttheater of Magdeburg and worked in the years 1901-12 at the Stadttheater (Opera House) of Hamburg. In the years 1899 to 1912 she performed regularly at the Berlin Court Opera, 1900 at the Court Opera of Dresden, 1904 at the Court Theater Schwerin and 1900 at the Opera House in Leipzig. In Amsterdam, she appeared in a guest performance as Konstanze in the 'Abduction from the Seraglio'. Her repertoire included mostly coloratura parts such as the Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute, Rosina in the Barber of Seville, Marie in Donizrtti's Regimental Daughter, Gilda in Rigoletto, Traviata , the page Oscar in Verdi's' Masked Ball ', the Queen Marguerite as the page Urbain in Meyerbeer's' Huguenots', the Philine in' Mignon 'by A.Thomas, the Rose Friquet in the' bell of the hermit 'of Maillart, the Elvira in' La Muette de Portici 'by Auber and the wife Fluth in the' Merry Wives of Windsor 'by Nicolai; However, she also took on heavier games such as the Chrysothemis in 'Elektra' by Richard Strauss.
