Located south of Faro Airport, Faro Beach extends along a dune cord between the ocean and Ria Formosa. Besides occasional boat connections with the city of Faro, the single lane bridge allows road traffic, with traffic lights ruling both flows.

This 1999 Opel Corsa was left on the roadside at Santa Margarida (Tavira municipality). Damages on the axles and wheels bring about dismantling as the only issue.
