The Airbus A400M Atlas is a joint project to replace the C130 Hercules and C160 Transall as a transport aircraft. In capacity it is between the C130 and the C17, able to carry 116 troops and having a rough landing strip capability. The French took delivery of their first A400ms in 2013, the RAF in 2014. It is powered by four engines with counter rotating propellers on each wing. This is an RAF Atlas almost certainly en route from Brize Norton to Pembrokeshire, taking part in Exercise Griffin Strike.

Exercise Griffin Strike is a joint Anglo-French amphibious and air assault exercise with the current phase based at a disused airfield at Templeton in Pembrokeshire. Its aim is to prove the capability of the Anglo-French Combined Joint Expeditionary Force (CJEF), a military organisation set up beyond the NATO framework, probably another step on the path to a Federated States of Europe.

This was my first. The RAF have ordered 22 of them, I'm not sure how many of them they have at present. When I was serving they were only being talked about.
