large bee at rest
Bees busy collecting pollen move quickly. Capturing images of them at work requires quick reflexes and some luck. This unusually large bee appeared to be resting on the underside of a hollyhock flower, so I was able to capture several images while it remained motionless.

I believe so, but I’m not an expert. I sent the image to a lady who is doing her doctorate on bees, but I haven’t heard back from her.
