230|366: sunrise in belgium
5:30 h, a few kilometres from Dunkerque: I've been driving all night along peaceful and quiet motorways in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and France, apart from the occasional lorry (I know, "peaceful" and "quiet" aren't words that you would normally associate with motorways but that's what it was like and it's also the reason why I prefer travelling by night). I stopped at a service station and the sun slowly rose above the horizon just to vanish behind a bank of clouds a few seconds later.
