Everybody was on the ice today in the glorious Friday afternoon sun - it's a festivity we only have once every ten years or so when Lake Alster in the middle of the city is frozen solid. And everyone else was taking pictures, like the photographer leaning against the railing of Kennedy Bridge. I was on the other side waiting for a chance to cross in the dense after-work rush hour when I spotted a) my long shadow on the road and b) my fellow snapper.
