Boris is INCREDIBLE!!! Look at those details!!! An absolutely stunning beauty!

Regarding Pumpkin and her ability to bite, lol...yes, it's really no fun to get chomped on when she's pissed off, but that's very rare. Actually Caiques love to roll around on their backs and kick at your fingers and gently chomp on them as part of the game as they cackle and chortle in happiness. When we play this way, she NEVER hurts me, though she technically bites me 100 times in a minute! Very gentle girl. But when she's angry, WATCH OUT...that beak is capable of serious damage. She doesn't like women except me and the RARE exception, and she is quite shocking how vicious she can be if a woman gets close enough for her to attack. Hard to believe that this doll can become a velociraptor under the right conditions. Once we had her in a travel cage when Steve went to visit a friend. The man's wife went into the room where Steve had Pumpkin, she opened the cage without asking, and Pumpkin raged out of the cage, ran up her arm in a flash, and attacked her face and hands, biting as hard and as much as she could. Instead of doing something very bad, the woman did her best to get Pumpkin off her (getting badly bitten in the process) and onto the ground, where she backed out of the room as fast as she could and went to get Steve. Incredible!!! The lady has scars on her hands to this day--years later. Word to the wise: NEVER attempt to touch a parrot unless you KNOW it's ok, and even then, be wary. Strange birds are unpredictable! Caiques are not a beginner's bird in any sense of the word, but for those who understand how to give them gentle guidance and don't allow them to control a situation--they always test you--they can reward a lucky family with one of the most amazing birds in the world! (I have been lucky enough to share my life with 3 different Caiques...they are incredible birds, my very favorite!!)
