European Robin - Erithacus rubecula
The beautiful little European Robin - Ericathus rubecula - is often fondly referred to as a 'Bobbin' because of its habit of bobbing up and down and flicking its wings and tail. They can become quite tame if regular patience is given (along with tempting food of course). Its regular food is insects, worms, berries, fruits and even the occasional snail. found most everywhere where food is available and common visitors to gardens.
