Oktoberfest: Mt. Angel, Oregon Postcard, c1966

Oktoberfest: Mt. Angel, Oregon Postcard, c1966
"The FRUCHTSAEULE (a pillar of fruit, symbol of a bountiful harvest) was designed by Mr. G.M. Ortiz of Lake Oswego, Oregon. The pillar stands 20 feet high and 4 ft. square at the base. It is decorated with one ton of fruits and vegetables."

My brain doesn't really know how to respond to this. [sigh] Anyway, it could've been, uh... presented anytime between 1966 and 1972. (link)

(Shown slightly larger than original size.)

Alan Mays has particularly liked this photo
