Shaggy Ink Cap Toadstool (Caprinus comatus)

Seen near Newton, Suffolk. This toadstool is also known as Lawyer's Wig. Please remember that, under no circumstances should any fungi be eaten, unless they have been properly identified by qualified experts.

Petar Bojić ^club

You weren't wrong, Dean! It is Coprinus comatus (in our country called Great slurry ).A prized delicacy. At the very top to taste. It is enjoyed only until it starts to get dark, not even red.
