Sharp- Scaled Echinoderma (Echinoderma asperum)

Sharp- Scaled Echinoderma (Echinoderma asperum)
Easy recognized by its sharp warts on its cap and large white ring on a smooth stalk. Old name Lepiota acutesquamosa.

Peter Van Der Houwen, Juan have particularly liked this photo

So so unusual with its bumpy skin. Nice and bright and good contrast with the green.

You have a great fungus collection and so informative photographed!
I am a much more "basic mushroomer"! I only photograph them and compare the photo with images in my many fungus guides. I never touch them or pick them for consumption. There are too few mushrooms in the Netherlands with respect to its large number of inhabitants.

Lovely detail and grouping. You certainly have some great fungi. Our season is just starting in the UK.
