What an incredible picture, Steve. Such clarity and you must be so happy to have a camera that can take such detailed pictures like this, especially of the moon. I've often wondered what those lines are, it's as if they've been scored out of the surface.

The dark areas of the moon are called seas Jenny. You can google the features of the moon and get the names of the craters and seas.
