Hübsche Gans (Hagenbeck)
Mit freundlicher Genehmigung vom Tierpark Hagenbeck.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
With the kind permission of Tierpark Hagenbeck.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
This goose - about or a little above the size of a red-breasted goose - lives in Hagenbeck zoo (Hamburg/Germany). I doubt that it's native to Germany; many foreign geese and ducks live on and around the various ponds in the zoo. In my opinion, it looks like a ruddy shelduck (tadorna ferruginea); what do you say?
