This 1968 track frame built for the professional Wolfgang Schulze is a rare example for a developped design in comparison to other known Paupitz frames, especially track frames: a new lug design -I assume these lugs are made by Prugnat- strong dropouts and a slighter fork rake than usual. The new plain lettering underlines this modern design.

The Paupitz writing feels slightly superior to the surface and seems to be painted or made with a stencil. As Paupitz introduced this style of lettering in 1968 this is obviously an early example of it. Later decals were fitted to the frame.
