Paupitz Bahnrahmen #71240 für Wolfgang Schulze

Built in 1968. Acquired via ebay some years ago the fact that Heinz Paupitz used in nearly all cases the birth date of the customer as the frame number made it quite easy to me. The 7th of december 1940 is the birth date of the Schulze twins, Wolfgang and Johann. Immediately I called Heinz Paupitz and he confirmed that he built a track frame for Wolfgang Schulze, "should be 56 or 57 cm seat tube length" he remembered. And he was correct, seat tube length is 56 cm! Schulze came to Paupitz' workshop with a brown coffee bag in his hand and asked him if he could build him a track frame finished in this particular coulor. Paupitz did.
Later this frame has been used by the racing club RC Charlottenburg as a training machine. When sorted out it came to my hands.
