View from the south side mound, looking directly across to the Manchester Airport Runway Visitor Park, which the blue KLM B737 is moving past.
The hanger type building on the left is a restaurant, and home to preserved Concorde G-BOAC. The green screens is the engine test bay, and immediately to the right of that is the bizjet park.
Just to the left of the control tower is the maintenance hangar and paint shop. A Thomson Airways B767, on the right, moving to the departure point.

The Y shaped fence marks the line of a public track/footpath for walkers and cyclists, which ensures easy access to the mound.
