Radisson Blu

Radisson Blu
The Radison Blu Hotel, as seen from outside the entrance to Manchester Airport Rail Station. From this angle it reminds me of the coaling stage at Carnforth loco shed.
The tube-like structure is the elevated walkway from Terminal 1 to the Airport rail/bus/tram interchange - just out of shot towards the right - and Terminal 2.

I live not too far from here, so have had no reason to stay in the hotel. Noise from the trains is no problem, but the south facing rooms overlook the apron on Terminal 2 at Manchester Airport. The rooms are, of course, soundproofed!
