Trainer

Trainer
Tachikawa Ki-55. Over 1300 of these were built by the Japanese during 1940-1943, as an advanced trainer. Just two remain, of which this example resides in the Royal Thai Air Force Museum near Bangkok.

The Ki-55 prototype first flew in September 1939.
Allied reporting name = Ida (same as Ki-36)
Some were used for kamikaze missions.
