Fireside_Fairy_Tales

English illustrator Margaret Tarrant, who later achieved renown with the Flower Fairy books of the 1920's, did the cover to this edition of Fireside Fairy Tales by Whitman while Alice Carsey handled the interior illustrations.

This edition is undated, but it is likely an early offering from Whitman, who started publishing in their familiar Racine, Wisconsin location in 1915. Late teens to early 20's.
