1960 Messerschmitt KR200

1960 Messerschmitt KR200
From 1955 to 1964, Messerschmitt built 40,000 KR200 Kabinenroller three-wheeled microcars, which were designed by German aeronautical engineer Fritz Fend. Their single-cylinder 10-horsepower engine would have normally made them slow cars, but their lightweight streamlined design gave them a top speed of almost 90 miles per hour. This black 1960 De Luxe version is displayed at the Science Museum in London.

This photo was taken by a Kowa Super 66 medium format film camera with a KOWA 1:3.5/55 lens and Kowa L39•3C(UV) ø67 filter using Ilford Delta 3200 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.

Berny, HaarFager, Jean-luc Drouin and 2 other people have particularly liked this photo

A really nice medium format shot! I wouldn't have wanted to crash in one of those things going 90 miles an hour!
