Peaceful Plaza

Peaceful Plaza
The idea of peace has eluded humanity throughout history.
At least one can sit on one of the benches in this small plaza and contemplate a world without war.

This photo was taken by a Kowa Super 66 medium format film camera and KOWA 1:3.5/55mm lens with a Zenza Bronica 67mm SY48•2C(Y2) filter using Kodak T-MAX 100 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.

"This phallic statue was a message to religious figures who "blessed" these efforts as a mission for God."
An explanation I appreciate and fully in accordance with what I think about the use of religion to serve political interests and dominate people by fear.
