This nopal cactus has worked hard saving up for the future generation. Those savings are well protected by a prickly security system.

This photo was taken by a Zenza Bronica S2 medium format film camera and NIKKOR-Q 1:3.5 f=13.5cm lens with a Zenza Bronica SO56•2C(YA3) 67mm filter attached to an A/B/C Combo Extension Tube using Ilford FP4 Plus 125 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.
