Banded Kraken Fossil

Banded Kraken Fossil
Stories by ancient seamen over the centuries of attacks by hideous Kraken may not be imaginary! I have stumbled upon the fossilized remains of a juvenile Kraken at the base of an eroded coastal cliff. Although the fossil is many millions of years old, it proves that such fabled sea creatures existed in the ancient seas. Perhaps they survived into historic times, terrorizing early sailors - and who knows . . . they might yet be lurking in the ocean depths.
Marine paleontologists have scoffed at my previous discoveries and claims, calling me a charlatan and fraud. But with this discovery, my tarnished reputation will certainly be restored!

This photo was taken by a KИEB 60 medium format film camera and a Carl Zeiss Jena DDR Flektogon 4/50 lens with a Tiffen 86C UV filter using Kodak Portra 160 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.
