DescriptionDuring one of my backcountry excursions I have made a frightening observation. The Earth’s crust is cracking! The crevasse is profoundly deep, perhaps all the way to the mantle which the North America tectonic plate rides upon. From the profound depths I could hear the deep rumble of shearing rock. It appears that all of that talk about California falling into the Pacific is true. More shocking yet, is that much of the continent west of Colorado will also be taking that dramatic plunge..Further research needs to be done to map the exact border of what will shortly become beachfront property. Soon, a rush to stake claim to that valuable real estate will rival the famous Oklahoma Land Run of 1893!.For those who see my observation as yet another kooky conspiracy by a confirmed lunatic, I have taken several photos providing evidence of the imminent danger...This photo was taken by a Kowa/SIX medium format film camera with a KOWA 1:2.8/85mm lens and Zenza Bronica 67mm SY44•2C(Y1) filter using Ilford XP2 Super 400 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.
