Engineer Mountain

Engineer Mountain
Engineer Mountain (a.k.a. Ice Cream Cone Mt. by many children) is a beautiful landmark when driving up to the summit of Coal Bank Pass on U.S. Highway 550 north of Durango, Colorado.

This photo was taken by an Asahi Pentax 6 X 7 medium format film camera and Super-Mult-Coated Takumar/6X7 1:4.5/75 lens with a Zenza Bronica 82mm L 1A filter using Kodak Portra 800 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.

My family moved near to this area when I was a small child. This was my first visit visit since the 1960s - quite a nice memory!
