Splendour in the Grass

Splendour in the Grass
Though nothing can bring back the hour
Of splendour in the grass, of glory in the flower,
We will grieve not, rather find
Strength in what remains behind . . .
[William Wordsworth]

This photo was shot from a Hasselblad 500C medium format film camera with a Carl Zeiss Distagon 1:4 f=50mm lens and Zenza Bronica 67mm SO56•2C(YA3) filter using Rollei RPX 400 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.

This partial exposure, number 13 of a 12 exposure roll, deserves an honorary mention.

I think that I shall use this RPX for my next IR-like shots :)

I don't think that the Rollei RPX series (25, 100 and 400 ISO) have a "red-sensitivity" above 580nm which is the infrared zone. The Rollei Retro 80S and 400S do, as well as the Rollei SuperPan 200, and can be used with proper filters to create splendid IR effects. And of course, there is Rollei IR 400 created specifically for infrared use.
Let there be light!

I know, I know... Rollei IR 400 is allegedly the best. But I have been so unlucky with it.
