Failsafe

Failsafe
Apocalyptic visions of the future fill the texts and oral stories of human history. Why not be well-prepared, I say . . .
Hidden deep in an undisclosed mountain cave is a treasured heritage stockpile reserve, protected from a nuclear holocaust or intergalactic alien invasion.

This photo was taken by a Kowa/SIX medium format film camera and KOWA 1:3.5/55mm lens using Kodak Portra 160 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.

Thank you Josef. I was pleased that my improvised tripod (an upright barrel) provided a sturdy support for a 2-second exposure.
