Eerie Silence

Eerie Silence
With all of the horror movies and zombie films of late I warily advance into this colorful abandoned amusement park. Echoing distant carnival music wafts in and out of earshot. A chill terror rises in me as I hear shrieking coming from somewhere ahead . . .

This photo was taken by an Asahi Pentax 6 X 7 medium format film camera and Super-Multi-Coated Takumar/6X7 1:4.5/75mm lens using Kodak Portra 400 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.

Yes, the light was stupendous for a photo shoot - California light can be very helpful to photographers!
