Coot parents-to-be working together to try and get the branch into the nest where their egg rests. It was quite an effort for them with one or the other dropping it and then getting tangled trying to work out who would go in reverse, which way they would go, and trying to navigate around the fountain and nest to get a clear shot at lifting it into the nest. What an entrance to the world this chick will have...more than a little damp!!
