Happy Fence Friday, All

On the left is part Hertford College. Over to the right is part of the Bridge of Sighs that links the two parts of Hertford College.

This shot is similar to one I uploaded in June. There is a bigger shadow here and this allows me to use a more obscure musical link for 'Sight & Sound' methinks. And, that is "Wonderful Land" by The Shadows :-)

Thank you, Dimas. The bridge is really known as Hertford Bridge but everyone calls it the Bridge of Sighs because of its supposed similarity to the better known Bridge of Sighs in Venice :-)

Hello Christa. Indeed, there is a 'Bridge of Sighs' over the River Cam in Cambridge. In fact when I was looking at the Internet for info on Hertford College and its 'Bridge of Sighs' up popped a photo of the Cambridge one :-) Haven't been to Cambridge for very, very, very many years and perhaps I should visit :-)
