Marc Bonnehée (1828-1886); French baritone who created the role of of Guy de Montfort in Verdi's "Les Vêpres Siciliennes" in 1855 at the Grand Opéra Paris.
The dedication is made to his colleague and friend Boulo, Jean-Jacques Boulo (1820-1887) was a French tenor, who had engagements at Lyon, Paris (Opéra-Comique and Grand-Opéra) and at the end of his career at his hometown Toulouse.
