The bridge can be found in Rotterdam. It is part of the motorway A16, one of the busiest in the Netherlands. The bridge crosses the Nieuwe Maas river. The island is named after A.W. Baron van Brienen van de Groote Lindt, a rich nobleman and businessman, also member of parliament in the 19th century.
