Rijksmuseum 2019 – 80 Years' War – Bible corrected by the Dutch
In 1626 the States-General ordered that there should be a new authoritative Dutch translation of the Bible. It was approved by the States-General in 1637 and it is known as the Statenbijbel. It has similar status as the King James Version.
