Rochechouart 2017 – Rue Léon Sudrat

Léon Sudrat was a philanthrope who died in 1892. He left his entire fortune to his birth town of Rochechouart. He left provisions in his will to erect a small monument which has the text “He has gone from the world with feelings of regret that he has not left enough to alleviate all the misery.”
