Château de Kerjean 2014 – Front view

Château de Kerjean 2014 – Front view
The castle dates from the 16th century. The last marquise, Suzanne Augustine de Coatanscour, was guillotined in 1794 by the French revolutionaries. After that, the castle fell into disrepair. Part of the castle was sold for its stone. In 1911 it was bought by the government and monument status was granted. The restoration was finished in 2005.

In the olden days it was a bit smarter, but realised by exploiting the workers! By hanging on to outdated imperialist dogma which perpetuates the social and economic differences in our society!

I knew that!

Also did you realise the French never finish a restoration or improvement to their homes because they do not pay tax until the job is completed!
