Château de Kerjean 2014 – Front view
The castle dates from the 16th century. The last marquise, Suzanne Augustine de Coatanscour, was guillotined in 1794 by the French revolutionaries. After that, the castle fell into disrepair. Part of the castle was sold for its stone. In 1911 it was bought by the government and monument status was granted. The restoration was finished in 2005.

Latium has replied to Michiel 2005 clubAlso did you realise the French never finish a restoration or improvement to their homes because they do not pay tax until the job is completed!
