Dordt in Stoom 2014 – MLV Castor
The Castor dates from 1950. It was built by the Naval Department to serve as pilot ship and as a communications ship during wartime. It could also be used to transport the government out of the Netherlands during an emergency. It suffered from neglect after it was sold in 1984. It is slowly being restored.

Michiel 2005 club has replied to Latium
Probably they only put the king and a couple of ministers in this ship and not the entire government. That happened in 1940 too. The Castor was capable of sailing to South Africa without refuelling. The government in the Netherlands is a bit smaller than in Britain.
