Another drain cover of the Overijselsche IJzergieterij (1913-1927)

Another drain cover of the Overijselsche IJzergieterij (1913-1927)
The Overijselsche IJzergieterij (translated: Foundry of Overijssel (= province in the Netherlands)) was part of the Koninklijke Industriële Maatschappij Noury & Van der Lande. Noury & Van der Lande was founded in 1839 as a paint factory. In 1913 they created the Overijselsche IJzergieterij as a subsidiary. The Overijselsche folded in 1941, but they already ceased production in 1927 after a cripling strike. This drain cover therefore must date from 1913-1927. It can be found on the grounds of the Academic Hospital, they are there from the time the Hospital was built. On most drain covers the name has faded, this is the only one with the name still visible.
Noury & Van de Lande was one of the companies that formed AkzoNobel.
